It wasn’t your life that changed. It was your relationship with yourself.

For many women, there comes a point when something no longer feels quite right.

From the outside, life may look successful. You’ve built a career, a business, a family or a life you’ve worked hard for. You’re capable, dependable and the person others turn to when things need doing.

But somewhere beneath the surface, you feel different.

You find yourself wondering why you feel disconnected, even though there’s so much to be grateful for.

You sense there’s more to you than the life you’re currently living, but you can’t quite put your finger on what’s missing.

You tell yourself you’ll feel better when work calms down, when life gets less busy, or when you finally have time to think.

But the feeling doesn’t go away.

Instead, it gets harder to ignore.

Not because something is wrong with you.

Because something important inside is asking for your attention.

How we lose ourselves

It happens so gradually that we rarely notice it’s happening.

None of us sets out to lose ourselves. It happens gradually, as we respond to the expectations placed on us, the responsibilities we carry and the roles we take on.

Little by little, we become so focused on what life needs from us that we lose sight of what we need from life.

The quieter parts of ourselves become harder to hear.

The part that knows what matters.

The part that knows what no longer fits.

The part that’s been trying to get your attention.

It’s about creating the space to step out of the constant doing, into the present moment, and creating the space to hear yourself clearly enough to recognise what’s true for you.

Through a combination of breathwork, coaching and awareness practices, Becoming Her helps you to slow down, listen differently and find clarity about what matters most to you.

And when you’re clear, you know what you need to do – so you do it.

Creating the space for women to reconnect with themselves.

I’m Cathy Ballard, a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator and transformational coach. I work with women who feel a growing gap between the life they’re living and the woman they know they could be – and they’re ready for something to change.

My work is built on a simple premise:

When women understand themselves honestly enough, compassionately enough and deeply enough, they begin to trust themselves, honour what they know, and create lives that reflect who they really are.

Whether we’re working together in a group or one-to-one, my role isn’t to give you the answers. It’s to create the space where you can hear your own.
