Becoming Her –
Private Mentoring
Hear yourself again. Trust what you know. Let your wisdom lead.
For the part of you that knows there’s more – and is ready to live from it.
Private 1:1 support for deeper change
Becoming Her Private Mentoring is six months of 1:1 support to help you slow down, hear yourself more clearly, and reconnect with the wise, vibrant woman within you – the part of you that knows what matters, what needs to change, and what is ready to lead.
For women who have read the books, joined the programmes and done the inner work – but still find themselves second-guessing, overthinking or looking outside themselves for answers when life feels full, emotional or complicated.

For the part of you that knows there’s more – and is ready to live from it.

Becoming Her – Private Mentoring
Hear yourself again. Trust what you know. Let your wisdom lead.
For the part of you that knows there’s more – and is ready to live from it.
Becoming Her Private Mentoring is six months of private 1:1 support to help you slow down, hear yourself more clearly, and reconnect with the wise, vibrant woman within you – the part of you that knows what matters, what needs to change, and what is ready to lead.
For women who have read the books, joined the programmes and done the inner work – but still find themselves second-guessing, overthinking or looking outside themselves for answers when life feels full, emotional or complicated.
When life becomes too full, it’s harder to hear yourself clearly.
When there is so much to hold, your own needs, desires and knowing can become quieter.
People need you.
Responsibilities keep shifting.
Your body, energy or capacity may not work the way they used to.
Relationships change. Families change. The future asks different questions than it did before.
And even when life looks fine from the outside, inside you may feel pulled in too many directions to hear what you really need.
Maybe it’s this…
- Your children need you less than they used to, and instead of feeling free, you feel strangely unsure of who you are now.
- An elderly parent needs more from you, and you feel the quiet weight of being the one who has to notice, organise, support or decide.
- A relationship changes, ends, or asks something different of you, and you realise how much of yourself has been shaped around keeping things together.
- Someone in your family needs extra support, and your own needs keep slipping further down the list.
- Your body changes. Your energy changes. Your capacity changes. And the way you used to push through simply doesn’t work anymore.
- You reach a stage of life you thought would feel spacious, but instead there’s a quiet ache you can’t quite name.
- You start another project, course, practice or plan, hoping this might be the thing that brings you back to yourself – and for a while it does. Until the familiar restlessness returns.
You’re still capable. Still thoughtful. Still showing up for the people and responsibilities in your life.
But inside, there’s a growing sense that the old ways of coping, pleasing, pushing through or holding everything together aren’t working in the same way anymore.
Maybe you’ve found yourself wondering…
Why do I keep ending up back here?
Why can I see it so clearly afterwards, but not when I’m in it?
How much of my life have I shaped around what other people needed from me?
What might change if I didn’t have to work all of this out on my own?
And slowly, you begin to realise there is something deeper asking for your attention.
Not because you haven’t done enough.
Not because you need to try harder.
But because some things don’t shift through thinking alone.
They begin to change when there is enough space to slow down, enough safety to be honest, and the right kind of support to help you hear what you already know.
The problem isn’t that you haven’t done enough inner work.
You don’t need another book, another workshop, or another practice that leaves you trying to work it all out by yourself.
And you don’t need another ‘blueprint’ telling you to follow the steps, push through, or become some shinier version of yourself.
You need a space that can meet you where you actually are.
A space where what is happening in your life now becomes part of the work.
Where the same feelings, reactions and questions aren’t treated as problems to fix, but as important clues about what needs your attention.
Where you can be seen clearly, supported safely, and gently challenged when old ways of coping start taking over again.
That’s where Becoming Her Private Mentoring begins.
A private mentoring journey shaped around you
So, what actually happens inside Becoming Her Private Mentoring?
We begin with what’s happening in your life now.
The decision you keep circling.
The feeling that keeps coming back.
The conversation you keep replaying.
The old role you slip into before you realise it.
The part of you that wants something different, even if you can’t fully name what that is yet.
Rather than moving through a fixed programme, each session is shaped around what you bring.
Sometimes that means reflective coaching.
Sometimes it means breathwork, somatic awareness, nervous system support, energy work or intuitive practice.
Sometimes it simply means slowing everything down enough for you to hear what your body, emotions and wisdom have been trying to show you.
The work is called Becoming Her because you are not trying to become a more polished, impressive or acceptable version of yourself…
You are becoming more fully yourself.
The woman beneath the roles, expectations and old ways of coping.
The woman who can hear herself.
Trust herself.
And begin choosing from that place.
This is the kind of experience clients often describe about our work together…
“I completely trust and feel safe with Cathy’s guidance. She keeps space and opens up to everything that comes up without me feeling inhibited or ashamed of what comes up in our sessions.” — Susanna
Here’s how the journey unfolds…
This isn’t a fixed programme you’re moved through in the same order as everyone else.
Every session is shaped around what you bring. But over time, the work often moves through these deeper layers.
-
-
Meet what’s here
We begin by creating enough space to hear what’s really going on beneath the noise of everyday life.
Not what you think you should feel.
Not what everyone else needs from you.
Not the version of you that keeps everything going. But the quieter, more honest truth underneath.
You begin to feel less tangled, with more clarity about what you actually feel, need and want.
-
See what’s shaping you
Together, we look at the patterns, roles and old ways of coping that keep resurfacing.
Not to judge them, but to see why they formed, how they may have protected you, and whether they still belong in the life you want to live now.
You begin to notice when you’re slipping into old habits – pleasing, pushing through, overthinking, holding back – and feel more empowered to choose differently.
-
Feel safe to go deeper
Some things don’t shift through thinking alone.
Depending on what you bring, our work may include coaching, reflection, breathwork, somatic awareness, nervous system support, energy work, tarot or intuitive practice.
The point isn’t to use every tool. It’s to meet what is actually here in the way that best supports you.
You begin to feel less afraid of what comes up, and more able to meet your emotions, body and intuition with trust.
-
Trust what life is showing you
What happens between sessions matters.
The conversation you keep replaying.
The reaction that surprised you.
The decision you’re avoiding.
The feeling that returns when you thought you’d moved past it.These aren’t interruptions to the work. They often show us exactly where the next piece of work is.
Over time, you begin to relate to life differently. Instead of feeling thrown around by what happens, you start to see where life may be inviting you to pause, listen, choose, soften, speak, release or grow.
You begin to feel less at the mercy of life, and more able to flow with it.
-
Live more truly
This work isn’t just about insight. It’s about how you live afterwards.
The choices you make.
The boundaries you honour.
The relationships you stay in or step away from.
The work you give yourself to.
The way you stop abandoning yourself in small, everyday moments. You begin to make clearer choices from the wisdom you’ve learned to trust.
-
Let’s talk about the “shouldn’t I be able to do this myself?” thought…
If you’re used to being capable, this kind of support can feel like a lot to ask for.
But Private Mentoring isn’t about handing your power to someone else. And needing support doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
It’s a space to hear yourself more clearly, see what’s hard to see when you’re in it, and reconnect with the wisdom that was already in you.
Is Private Mentoring right for you?
Private Mentoring is a close, personal space, so the fit matters.
You don’t need to arrive with everything neatly worked out. You don’t need the perfect words for what’s changing, or a clear plan for where you’re going next.
But you do need to want this kind of support: honest, spacious, gently challenging and personal to you.
Not quite the right fit?
This isn’t for you if:
You want a fixed programme to follow: this work is personal and responsive, not a step-by-step curriculum.
You mainly want someone to tell you what to do: I won’t hand you answers or decide for you. I’ll support you to hear yourself more clearly and trust your knowing.
You’re looking for therapy or crisis support: this is deep transformational mentoring, but it isn’t clinical trauma treatment or emergency support.
You’re not ready to look honestly at yourself: always gently, never with judgement – but this work does ask for willingness.
No judgement if that’s where you are. It just means this may not be the right space or the right timing.
Ready for deeper support?
This is for you if:
You’ve done the inner work already, but still find yourself second-guessing, overthinking or looking outside yourself for answers.
You’re moving through a too-full, emotional or complicated season of life, and want support that can meet the depth of what’s happening.
You want a private space where you can be honest about what’s really going on, without having to tidy it up first.
You’re ready to slow down, listen more deeply, and begin making choices from the wisdom you already carry.
What’s included?
Private, personal support for the changes you’re ready to live, not just understand.
This isn’t a course to work through, a set of videos to watch, or another programme asking you to fit yourself into someone else’s method.
It’s a private mentoring space where we work with what is happening in your real life – the decisions, emotions, relationships, responsibilities, patterns and questions that are asking for your attention now.
-
- Personalised 1:1 mentoring: each session is shaped around what you bring, rather than a fixed curriculum or pre-planned process.
- Space to untangle what feels overwhelming: when everything feels connected to everything else, it can be hard to know where to begin. Together, we slow it down, tease out the different threads, and work with what needs your attention one piece at a time.
- A responsive blend of approaches: depending on what’s needed, our work may include coaching, breathwork, nervous system support, somatic awareness, energy work, reflection through tarot, intuitive practice and integration.
-
Support between sessions: you’ll have support between calls by WhatsApp or email for reflections, questions or anything important that arises between sessions, so the work stays connected to real life.
-
A safe space: a judgement-free place where you don’t have to tidy yourself up, explain everything perfectly or make what you’re feeling more acceptable before you bring it.
-
Integration that carries into life: we’ll keep bringing the work back to how you live, choose, relate, rest, speak up, set boundaries and trust yourself in everyday moments.
A few words from women I’ve worked with…
The details
Length:
Becoming Her Private Mentoring is a six-month private mentoring journey.
This gives us enough time for the work to unfold, deepen and begin showing up in your everyday life – with a clear beginning, rhythm and timeframe.
Sessions:
We meet every two weeks for a private 60–90 minute session. Some sessions may be more conversational and reflective; others may need more space for breathwork, somatic work or deeper integration.
Where:
Sessions take place online via Zoom, so you can join from a private, comfortable space of your own.
Between sessions:
You’ll have support by WhatsApp or email between calls, and time to notice what shifts, what resurfaces and what life brings forward before we meet again. Noticing what shows up between calls is an important part of the work.
How it begins:
The first step is to apply or book a complimentary conversation. We’ll talk about where you are, what you’re looking for, and whether Becoming Her Private Mentoring feels like the right fit.
Your investment:
£2500
This is an investment in six months of close, personal support – giving the changes you’ve been reaching for time to deepen, integrate and become part of a life that feels steadier, freer and more your own.
No pressure. Just a conversation to explore whether this is the right fit.
Frequently asked questions
Find answers to the most common questions about Becoming Her.
This section aims to provide clarity and address any concerns you may have.
What can I expect from working together?
Each session begins with what feels most present for you.
That might be something that has happened since we last met, a decision you’re circling, a relationship dynamic, a feeling that keeps resurfacing, or a part of yourself you’re beginning to understand in a new way.
From there, we follow what is actually alive in the moment.
Sometimes the work will be reflective and conversational. Sometimes we may bring in breathwork, somatic awareness, nervous system support, intuitive practice, tarot for accessing the subconscious or integration work. Sometimes the most powerful thing is slowing down enough for you to hear what you already know, but haven’t had the space to fully trust.
You won’t be taken through a fixed curriculum. The work is personal, responsive and shaped around you.
I've already done a lot of inner work. How is this different?
Many women come to this work with years of personal development behind them.
They can often explain their patterns clearly. They know where some of their reactions come from. They may have read the books, done the courses, attended retreats, had therapy, trained in different practices, or spent years trying to understand themselves.
And a lot of that has helped.
But they still notice the same feelings, questions or reactions resurfacing in real life.
Becoming Her Private Mentoring is different because we’re not just looking for another insight. We’re working with what is happening now: the conversation that triggered you, the decision you keep avoiding, the role you keep slipping back into, the moment you abandoned yourself again even though you promised you wouldn’t.
That’s where the work becomes specific, personal and alive.
How do I know this will work for me?
I can’t promise a particular outcome, because deep personal work doesn’t move in a straight line.
But this work tends to be powerful for women who are ready to be honest with themselves, open to being supported, and willing to meet what is coming up rather than keep trying to think their way around it.
The first conversation helps us both sense whether this is the right fit. We’ll talk about where you are, what you’re hoping for, and whether the way I work feels like the support you need.
What if I don't know exactly what I need?
You don’t need to know before we begin.
You might come with a clear decision or life transition. Or you might simply know that something feels unfinished, unsettled or ready to change.
You may not have neat words for it yet.
That’s okay. We begin with what is here and let the work reveal what needs attention.
Is this the right kind of support for what I’m going through?
That’s exactly what we’ll explore together before we begin.
Becoming Her Private Mentoring can hold deep emotional and transformational work, but it isn’t therapy, counselling, clinical trauma treatment or crisis support.
I’m a trauma-informed breathwork practitioner with a lot of experience supporting women through deep inner work, and we’ll always move at a pace that feels right for you.
If I feel another kind of support would be better for you first, I’ll say so honestly and can recommend trusted colleagues.
What happens between sessions?
The time between sessions is part of the work.
You’ll have space to notice what shifts, what resurfaces, and what life brings forward before we meet again.
Sometimes a conversation, reaction, dream, decision or unexpected feeling becomes exactly what we need to explore next.
This is why we meet fortnightly rather than weekly. There is time for the work to breathe, integrate and show up in real life.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Payment plans are available.
We can talk through the options during your application conversation, so you can choose the arrangement that feels most supportive and sustainable for you.
Why is it by application?
Because this is close, personal work, and fit matters.
The application process gives us both a chance to explore where you are, what you’re looking for, and whether Becoming Her Private Mentoring can offer you the right, supportive space at this point in your life.
It isn’t about proving yourself or having everything worked out before you arrive. It’s simply a way to make sure the work feels right for both of us before we begin.
Hello, I’m Cathy!
I’m the founder of Becoming Her and Natural Breathwork.
For more than 25 years, I’ve supported women through coaching, breathwork and transformational practices.
And the question I keep coming back to is this:
Why do intelligent, self-aware women who understand themselves deeply still struggle to live from what they know?
What I’ve learned is that insight matters, but it isn’t always enough on its own.
When life is full, emotional or complicated, it’s easy to slip back into old ways of coping – even when part of you knows something else is possible.
Becoming Her Private Mentoring is the deepest way to work with me. It gives us the time and privacy to slow things down, untangle what feels overwhelming or confusing, release what belongs to the past, and help you reconnect with the wisdom, strength and aliveness already within you.
If this feels like the kind of support you’ve been looking for, I’d love to invite you to book a conversation.
