Come As You Are

A gentle Friday evening reset

It seems like many of us are holding a lot at the moment, so I wanted to create a small space for us to land and put some of it down for a while.

Nothing formal. Nothing polished. Just a calming, grounding Friday evening pause where you can arrive exactly as you are after a full week, and ease into the weekend feeling a little more connected to yourself.

Whatever load you arrive with is welcome. Maybe you have children who need more from you, elderly parents to support, relationship difficulties, bereavement or other losses, chronic health issues or pain, neurodivergent children or your own ND sensitivities, keeping work or business going, paying the bills, or simply trying to stay steady with everything happening in the world.

It doesn’t have to look a certain way to count as “a lot”. We all have different nervous systems, different capacities, and different things asking for our attention.

There’s no need to be “on”. This is a breathing space where the “I’ve got it all together” mask can soften – a chance to be real, be heard, and feel less alone in what you’re carrying.

We’ll slow down, breathe, maybe do a little journalling, and there’ll be space to share if you want to – or simply listen and receive. You’re welcome to take part in whatever way feels right for you.

No need to prepare anything. Just show up as you are. It’s online, so pyjamas, cuppa or G&T welcome.

If you’d like to come, you can save your place below. Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive the Zoom joining details with your booking confirmation.

Date: Friday 2nd October
Time: 7pm
Where: Online via Zoom
Length: 75–90 minutes
Contribution: £15

Looking forward to holding this cosy space for us. See you there!
